By creating an account or using tutee.net, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. User accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use tutee.net. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.

3. Bookings and payments

• Lessons are booked and paid for through the platform via Stripe
• Tutors set their own hourly rates
• tutee.net charges a 15% platform fee on each booking
• Bookings can be cancelled before the lesson starts
• Refunds for completed lessons are at the discretion of support

4. Tutor responsibilities

• Provide accurate profile information
• Be available at scheduled lesson times
• Maintain professional conduct during lessons
• Do not share contact details to bypass platform payments

5. Student responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when booking
• Join lessons on time
• Do not share contact details to bypass platform payments

6. Prohibited conduct

Users must not harass others, share inappropriate content, attempt to bypass payment systems, or use the platform for any illegal purpose. Violations may result in account termination.

7. Limitation of liability

tutee.net provides a platform for connecting tutors and students. We are not liable for the quality of lessons or conduct of users beyond reasonable platform moderation.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
